About our Candidate

To the residents of Eglinton Lawrence, I am very pleased and excited to have won the nomination to be your candidate for the Conservative Party of Canada in the upcoming Federal election In October of this year. I am looking forward to meeting as many of you as I can before the October election.

I am 51 years OF AGE, I have been married to my husband David for 21 years and we have five wonderful children aged 18,17,14,13 and 9.

I am a graduate of McMaster University with a degree in Judaica and Psychology.

I have lived in the Eglinton Lawrence riding for 50 years and have worked in it for 30 years.

My professional career can be divided into three exciting and challenging areas; education, business and politics.

After receiving my teaching degree IN 1986, I began teaching Judaic studies at middle school and later advanced to teaching grades 9 and 10 English at Bais Chomesh High School.

After three years of teaching I decided to become an entrepreneur in addition to my teaching. I founded, owned and operated, in the Eglinton-Lawrence community, Head-to-Toe Uniforms Inc. for 25 exciting and rewarding years. In 2014  I sold Head-to-Toe Uniforms.

Community service was a calling that had been stirring in me for many years. I felt a strong desire to give back to my community.  In 2014 I ran for a seat on Toronto City Council and came in "first behind the incumbent." However, my desire to be involved in my community has not been dampened. I decided to continue my community involvement and became active in local community causes as well as my riding's provincial and federal EDAs, serving as policy and membership chairs, respectively. I also returned to my entrepreneurial roots when in 2018 I founded and managed a political consultancy firm specializing in voter mobilization.

When not campaigning, I enjoy spending time with my family, entertaining/hosting guests for holiday meals, cooking, playing tennis, nature walks, scrabble and keeping up on events around the world.
